Happy New Year from Support Analytics

Happy New Year!

This coming year is setting up to be an amazing year for me.  My wife and I are expecting our second child in April and we are making some serious progress on becoming settled in our home in Columbia, MD.  The project list has been long and over the last year and a half we have done some major upgrading and enhancements, as my wife would say.

Below is a typical top 10 list that you see each year.  I agree with some of these, but for most, a specific goal needs to be set forth.  How do you know if you have successfully enjoyed life more at the end of the year?  That is too subjective.  I like to go with a short list of very attainable goals.  Otherwise, the end of the year will come with unnecessary depression because I didn’t enjoy life more.

  1. Stop smoking
  2. Get Fit
  3. Lose Weight
  4. Enjoy Life More
  5. Quit Drinking
  6. Get Organized
  7. Learn Something New
  8. Get Out of Debt
  9. Spend more time with the Family
  10. Help Others

New Day

In general, I want to keep writing at least 2 posts a week.  Generate good content for the readers. Start drinking (joke). Lose 10 pounds by June.  Build a shed for all of my “man” stuff.  Finally, try something new more often on Support Analytics, with my family, dinner, just seriously in general.  I get caught up in the day to day routine that I rarely venture out and try new things.

What are your 2009 resolutions?
